PhD student Christina Wohlrab from the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group was awarded the PHARMAC Young Researcher Award at the New Zealand Oncology Society Conference over the weekend.
Linda Buss, Rebekah Crake and Christina Wohlrab (all PhD students in the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group) were all recipients of Oncology Trainee Travel Awards.
In total, nine staff and students from the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group and Centre for Free Radical Research travelled to Auckland for the society’s 49th annual scientific meeting to give presentations.
Mackenzie Chair Professor Bridget Robinson took part in the panel discussion, Tissue banking in New Zealand: What does the future hold?
