Dr Vanessa Lattimore
Three Pathology and Biomedical Science research fellows have been awarded 2019 Major Project funding grants from the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation (CMRF).
Dr Juliet Pullar from the Centre for Free Radical Research has funding to investigate the vitamin C status of patients with non-healing wounds.
Dr Vanessa Lattimore from the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group will investigate BRCA1/2 expression in breast tumours with her grant.
Dr Elisabeth Phillips will use her funding to investigate glioblastoma and ascorbate. Dr Phillips is also based in the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group.
