Arielle Sulit is currently working on the contributions of the microbiome to Colorectal Cancer, and their possible associations with human genetic expression in the disease. She has experience in both bioinformatics and laboratory work, and has used both to accomplish work in this field.

Arielle completed her PhD studies at Massey University, Auckland. She investigated the roles of the microbiome and host immune responses in subtypes of Colorectal Cancer, and radiotherapy in rectal cancer. She was supervised by Dr Rachel Purcell, Dr Olin Silander, and Dr Sebastian Schemer.
