Phil Bird is an Otolaryngologist with a special interest in otology and neurotology.

Phil is the Otolaryngology convenor for the 5th Year undergraduate programme: Orthopaedics and Advanced Medicine.

Research Interests

  • The delivery of corticosteroids to the inner ear
  • Outcomes research in cochlear implantation
  • Inner ear effects of middle ear procedures
