One of our aims is to provide community education around the importance of essential nutrients for the maintenance of good health and the prevention and treatment of different illnesses. Our community outreach and education includes:

  • Public lectures, e.g. University of the Third Age (U3A)

Continuing Professional Development ( CPD ) e-learning course

This e-learning course is designed to inform health care providers ( GPs, specialists, dietitians, pharmacists) of the science behind vitamin C's pleotropic roles in human health and disease, and includes modules on vitamin C pharmacokinetics, assessment, and the use of oral and intravenous vitamin C in infection, cancer and cardiometabolic conditions.

This course has been endorsed/registered with the following organisations for CPD / CME :

  • Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners ( RNZCGP )
  • Australian and New Zealand College of Intensive Care Medicine ( CICM )

Vitamin C and COVID-19 Research Resource

In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) published a 'Coordinated Global Research Roadmap for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus'. In this document vitamin C was highlighted as an adjunctive intervention with biological plausibility to improve the outcome of COVID-19 infected patients (pages 36-7).

This online resource is an up-to-date repository of published vitamin C and COVID-19 research studies and related resources.
