Abstract

This study began in 2005 and was due for completion in 2007. Serum samples and questionnaire data was collected from children aged 6-15 years, and adults aged 16-70 years. It was intended to estimate the prevalence of immunity to more than twelve vaccine-preventable diseases in the study. This information will be used to determine public health interventions aimed at preventing and controlling outbreaks and sporadic cases of these conditions.
