  • Clinical outcomes following major joint surgery, particularly examining factors associated with poor functional outcomes and/or post-surgical chronic pain (prospective studies)
  • Chronic pain coping strategies and decisions associated with using strategies in daily life
  • Mindfulness and positive psychology approaches to living with chronic pain
  • Factors associated with resilience and living with persistent pain
  • Experience of living with chronic pain (for example osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia)
  • Clinical practice change and knowledge translation from theory to clinical practice in pain and pain management
  • Long-term use of analgesics in persistent pain
