Master of Primary Health Care (MPHC)


The degree of Master of Primary Health Care allows study at postgraduate level and research experience (thesis or dissertation) in the field of Primary Health Care.


Every candidate shall:

  1. hold the Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Health Care with credit or distinction
  2. have completed an approved 30 points research methods paper.

Structure of the Master of Primary Health Care

The programme shall consist of either

  • a thesis on an advanced topic (120 points)


  • approved papers (60 points) and a dissertation (60 points)
