Disciplinary Matters  (Activity Descriptor)

Activities involved in undertaking disciplinary proceedings against students for breaches of the university's regulations or for misconduct. Activities include investigating complaints and allegations against students, recording hearings, imposing penalties and considering appeals.

Action: For SERIOUS disciplinary matters where the allegation is investigated and found to be supported: Archive 10 years after the date of last action or until no longer administratively required, whichever is longer. (14.2.1)

Action: For MINOR disciplinary matters where the allegation is investigated and found to be supported: Destroy 7 years after date of last action or until no longer administratively required, whichever is longer (14.2.2)

Action: For matters that did not proceed/no offence: Destroy 7 years after date of last action or until no longer administratively required, whichever is longer (14.2.3)

Action: For the administration associated with the management of processes of disciplinary hearings: Destroy, 7 years after date of last action or until no longer administratively required, whichever is longer (14.2.4).
