I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Science from The University of Adelaide in Australia in 2008. Before my PhD study, I received my Bachelor degree in Computer Science in 2002 and Master degree in 2004 from Shandong Normal University in China, and then worked as a researcher in Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) in 2005. After my PhD study, I worked as postdoctoral researcher at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden. I was appointed as a Lecturer from 2012 and Senior Lecturer from 2018 at Computer Science Department of Otago University. My research interests include resource optimization in computer architecture and computer networking, with a current focus on network-on-chips, optical networks, interconnection networks, green computing and cloud computing.
