Evaluation, Reward and Compensation, and Target Setting

It is often said by scholars and academics alike that there is no better incentive or motivational technique than money.

At the Centre, we study how pay can be used to promote superior performance. Our research investigates how organizational and situational factors impact on the successful use of incentive pay, with particular emphasis placed on why organizations should choose to adopt objective, subjective, or a mix of objective and subjective performance ratings when evaluating its divisions and people.
