    Learning Outcomes

The assessment comprises 12 short answer response questions (some in English, some in te reo Māori), benchmarked to NZC Level 1 te reo Māori using the written language mode and a set of 5 reflective self-assessment questions about your current knowledge, capability with te reo me kā tikaka Māori and commitment to learning te reo Māori. Assessment information, especially in the form of formative feedback is extremely useful for language learning accuracy and development. One’s intrinsic motivations, values, and beliefs can influence language learning success and support with developing a language learning identity.
