Study Advertising at Otago

The Commerce building east side

Overview

The Diploma for Graduates (DipGrad) endorsed in Advertising is one of the most flexible and inclusive options to study at the University of Otago. The very competitive creative industries are by nature interdisciplinary: required capabilities range from strategy to the arts, from copywriting to digital craft, from research to commerce. Beyond the two core advertising papers MART 333, MART 469 and a MART 300-level paper, you may include papers from any department, and build a portfolio of expertise that suits your individual ambitions. This includes the condensed papers from the Masters of Entrepreneurship programme for students who want to combine digital and creative vocations and start-ups.

For more information contact the caretaker of the University of Otago’s reputable advertising specialisation, Dr Roel Wijland. Feel free to pass by Otago Business School Room 4.24 or visit The Brandbach virtually in the website below to explore the core courses.
