World record to raise funds

The Guinness Book of World Records has said 'yes' to Andrew's challenge to break the cycling world record for circumnavigating the globe.

Andrew successfully broke the NZ 24 hour track cycling record November 2014. With a total of 776km ridden around the Mosgiel Velodrome, not only did Andrew break the current outdoor record of 691km, he also broke the indoor record of 720km.

Personal experience cements commitment

During preparations for his 24 hour record attempt, Andrew discovered that his friend Warren had recently been diagnosed with cancer, which reinforced his wish to support Te Aho.

"I would ride for people like Warren who deserved a longer go at life."
