Dr. Mak Sarwar.
Dr Mak Sarwar is an emerging cancer researcher who has made substantial contributions related to ovarian cancer biology and therapeutics. He is a co-founder of the Gynaecological Cancer League (GCL) in association with the New Zealand Society for Oncology and the New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Group.
He is particularly interested in exploring combination treatments, drug delivery systems and molecular abnormalities associated with tumour development and clinical outcome. Dr Sarwar’s research work includes a broad range of biomedical disciplines including molecular biology, tumour biology and translational cancer research.
