Cumberland College is under the management of the Warden who works closely with the Cumberland College Fellows and the University of Otago Student Accommodation Centre.
The Warden is responsible for the overall administration of the college, for the college’s ceremonial life, for resident welfare and community building, for planning and management of finances and physical plant, for the establishment of rules and regulations, and for representing the needs of the college to the university.
The Warden is Mr Ziggy Lesā.
The Deputy Warden is an integral part of the Management and Pastoral care team.
She has a wide range of duties and delegated responsibilities concentrating on academic support and pastoral care of the residents.
Eric takes responsibility for the event life of the College, such as sporting activities, and cultural activities.
Eric also assists with pastoral care of all residents and helps lead the RA team, and gives support to the mentors.
The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management of the College buildings and grounds, including the running of College utilities, repairs, and maintenance.
Food Services Manager
The Food Services Manager is responsible for the management of the College kitchen and Dining Hall.
The Dining Hall is at the heart of our community and the College kitchen produces over 1,000 meals per day.
