Warden

Luke joined Cumberland College as Warden in 2022. He is an Otago graduate and has experience in a variety of previous roles within the University of Otago, including as Warden of other Colleges. Luke has responsibility for the overall running of the College, including managing pastoral care and the welfare of residents.

Deputy Wardens

Cumberland College has two Deputy Wardens, Jenna Lockhart and Brian Satake. The Deputy Wardens are an integral part of the Management and Pastoral care team. They have a wide range of duties and delegated responsibilities concentrating on academic support and pastoral care of the residents, and lead the sub-warden team.

Assistant Wardens

Cumberland's two Assistant Wardens, Zoey Taylor and George Jackson takes responsibility for the event life of the College, such as sporting and cultural activities. They also assist with pastoral care of all residents.

Property Manager

The Property Manager, Evan Holzer is responsible for the overall management of the College buildings and grounds, including the running of College utilities, repairs, and maintenance.

Food Service Manager

The Cumberland Kitchen team is headed by Dylan Henry, who has won numerous awards for his culinary abilities including being a multi-year winner and placegetter in the University of Otago Residential Chef of the Year competition.

Administrator

Cumberland's administration and reception is led by Esther Hanson. Esther is the first point of contact for most visitors, and plays a crucial role in the administration of the College.
