 PENELOPE 2001

 In the pre-dawn
 the shuttle hums at the gate
 back-lit in red
 engine running

 children weave
 around his legs
 daddy daddy
 bring me something

 the sky grows pink
 gears crunch the van is gone
 she pours a cup of coffee
 and begins to wait

 CLOSED LOOP

 Do not remind me again.
 I have downloaded you to
 short-term memory.
 Most of our files
 are incompatible but
 we are having fun
 a triumph of mind under
 <BODY>. Do not remind me

 here I am again
 waiting
 <waiting>
 </waiting>
 maybe today is the day
 it will all work out
 this time
 but here we are, saying
 <B><P>goodbye</B></P>

 Do I want to save
 my changes?
         I never make
         changes
         I'll do it all again.
 Please
 do not remind me.
