Inside the redeveloped Walsh Building, home to the Dental School, an impressive atrium has taken shape.
Flanked by sleek staircases and the structure’s distinctive coloured glass panels, the atrium links the Walsh Building to the new Clinical Services Building next door.
The steady removal of internal scaffolding is revealing this striking space which will be 'the heart' of the facility, used by dental patients, students and staff.
Elsewhere throughout the building, more than 100 tradespeople are busy at work on laboratory and office spaces ahead of the redevelopment’s completion early next year.
The Walsh Building will house laboratories for research, academic offices, student support spaces, and teaching spaces.
