The design of any marketing and communication material comes from the design brief. The design brief should focus on the results, outcomes and objectives of the design job. It should not deal with the design aesthetics … that is the designer’s responsibility. The design brief needs to be accurate and have approval from all stakeholders. Your division or school’s marketing adviser can assist with your design brief.
From the design brief we then produce the initial proof. You will need to check the proof for accuracy. If there are any changes, please contact the designer directly. There are usually 2–4 rounds of changes from the initial proof.
Some flexibility within the brand parameters exists to tailor material to your needs. We aim to provide a solution that addresses your needs and the requirements of the University. We supply a finished art file (PDF) for production or publication.
