Professor Jim Mann has been interviewed by Radio Live broadcaster Mark Sainsbury about the Nelson Marlborough DHB ban on sugar-free beverages.
Professor Mann commented that the main reason that sugar-free drinks are undesirable, is that they are quite acidic and a risk to dental health. In addition, these drinks may encourage a liking for sweet things, that may influence the rest of your diet choices.
