The Cost of Food panel discussion, chaired by Kim Hill and featuring four expert panel members, was recorded by Radio NZ and is now available on their website.

The Evidence to Everyday symposium hosted this panel discussion, which included Dr Matire Harwood and Dr Sally Mackay from the University of Auckland, Professor Hugh Campbell from the University of Otago, and Deborah Manning from KiwiHarvest.

The panel discussed the "cost" of food in its broadest sense, and concluded that a disordered food system is contributing to our obesogenic environment. Panel members offered suggestions from research evidence, and their own experiences working with communities, as to what is needed to address this issue.
