Edgar Diabetes and Obesity Research Centre member Barbara Galland has been promoted to Professor from the start of February 2021.
Professor Barbara Galland heads the paediatric sleep research group within the Department of Women's & Children's Health. She investigates the role of sleep and sleep disturbance in a range of health outcomes.
In addition to her own research interests, Professor Galland collaborates with several EDOR researchers, including Professors Rachael Taylor, Barry Taylor and Ben Wheeler, using her expertise in childhood sleep to complement these research programmes.
