The Healthier Lives - He Oranga Hauora National Science Challenge (HLNSC) is one of three health-related New Zealand National Science Challenges.

Diabetes and obesity are two of the four non-communicable diseases that form the focus of this National Science Challenge, and consequently EDOR and HLNSC have some shared goals and researchers.  We regularly work together, particularly in the running of major public events relevant to our shared interests.
