Associate Professor Jeremy Krebs, EDOR researcher and endocrinologist based at the University of Otago, Wellington, is investigating if probiotics could be used to prevent type 2 diabetes.
Jointly funded by the Healthier Lives National Science Challenge, the Ministry of Health and the Health Research Council of NZ, the Food 4 Health study is now recruiting.
