Summer Student Linda Buss won the UOC Best Laboratory Prize for 2016-2017 at the UOC Summer Studentship final presentations on Friday 27 January.
For her ten week project, Linda investigated if vitamin C can slow down breast cancer. She was supervised by Associate Professor Gabi Dachs from the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group.
Her project was sponsored by the Cancer Society of New Zealand,Canterbury-West Coast Division and the Cancer Society Hurunui, Rangiora and Ellesmere groups.
