    Overview

The physiological ecology of marine, freshwater and terrestrial plants.

This literature-based paper focuses on current topics in marine, freshwater and terrestrial plants and fungi and their interactions with the environment. The paper is team taught by academic staff, so topics can vary in focus and approach, from gene expression to community ecology. Guided class discussion of selected topics, combined with individual free-topic presentations and original research proposals, allows students to gain an in-depth understanding of plant-environment interactions across a variety of themes, as well as focus on aspects of particular interest.
