    Teaching Arrangements

Key principles of pathology will be presented in lectures, which will be illustrated by scientific principles and clinical consequences of disease. Reading material will be recommended to supplement the lecture and to provide an alternative learning mode for students who do not learn well in a lecture setting.

The laboratories will be used to provide visual and hands-on experience to augment learning.

    Learning Outcomes

Students who successfully complete this paper will:

    • Be introduced to central ideas and theoretical components relating to pathological processes, including cell injury, inflammation, developmental disorders, cardiovascular disease and neoplasms
    • Acquire practical skills and techniques used in pathology
    • Learn the necessary skills required in the preparation of laboratory reports
