Research

I am a Consultant General, Colorectal Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist. I am also the Associate Dean Southland combined with a position in the Dunedin School of Medicine.

My main surgical specialty is cancer surgery and my academic interest involves basic and clinical research: carcinogenesis, colorectal cancer, molecular radiation biology and radiation enteropathy, as well as palliative medicine and hospice care.
