Medical centre in Michigan offers exercise program developed at Dunedin School of Medicine

Thirty people improved their health and well-being this past year by participating in Otago, a simple, individually tailored, home-based exercise program to improve strength and balance that was offered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Crosby.

Otago has been shown to reduce falls by over a third. It was developed by the Dunedin School of Medicine in New Zealand and was delivered by CRMC physical therapist Chris McCusker at Heartwood Senior Living Community over the course of 52 weeks.
