Magistère (CERDI) (France)
Alexis has two Masters Degrees from the Centre d'Étude et de Recherche sur le Développement International (CERDI) in France. Before joining the Ph.D program, he worked for two years as a statistician at "Programme d'Analyse des Systemes Educatifs de la CONFEMEN" (PASEC) in Dakar, Senegal. His main task was to assess determinants of the quality of primary education in Senegal, Burundi and Lebanon. Alexis’ thesis will focus on education economics in developing countries using a microeconomics approach. He will work on a database he collected in a rural area of Senegal.
