Peter's research interests include industrial organisation, competition economics, the economics of search, behavioural economics and discrete-choice econometrics. Before joining the University of Otago in 2020, Peter worked as an economist at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and, prior to that, at the Bank of England.
