M Ed Admin (1st hons), B Ed, Current Practicing Certificate
As an accredited facilitator
I support PCTs, mentors and school leaders with high quality induction and mentoring within their school context. I also support SCTs nationally and work with a range of schools to embed inquiry and collaborative learning as key components of teacher learning.
My experience includes
Secondary PCT and Mentor Facilitator - working nationally to support PCTs and OTTs to reach full certification; mentors with understanding the educative mentor role and developing skills for the role; school leaders with creating well aligned and robust induction and mentoring systems within their school.
Teacher Learning - working in schools to embed inquiry and purposeful collaboration that are optimal for the needs and context of their school and team.
Specialist Classroom Teachers - actively support SCTs nationally via their association ‘e’ space and through workshops where collective needs are identified (e.g. coaching skills, learning conversations, leveraging observations, improving team collaboration).
Communities of Learning/Kāhui Ako - independent advisor on the ‘New Appointments National Panel’. In this role I support the appointment of Leaders and Across School Teachers by ensuring applicants for these positions meet the national criteria for the role.
