As an accredited facilitator

I have worked alongside teachers, mentors, HODs and Senior Leaders to create individualised Professional learning to support the Arts and Provisionally Certified Teachers, Overseas Trained Teachers and their mentors. Be it via workshops, clusters or the facilitation of teaching as inquiry projects for individuals, my work focuses on putting the needs of the student at the centre and then building a framework to build a professional learning programme to improve student outcomes.

My experience includes

Secondary Arts Facilitator: strengthening how schools use the Arts Curriculum within the four disciplines while also exploring cross-curricular links in the Arts, Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, the Key Competencies and the Arts and Literacy development through and in the Arts.
Provisionally Certified Teacher/Mentor Facilitator, OTT Coordinator: supporting new teachers, OTTs, their mentors and leaders with pedagogical practice and a learning programme designed to implement and embed professional learning through the Standards for the Teaching Profession and the Guidelines for Induction and Mentoring. Be it a workshop, online or in-depth support, all are tailored to meet individual needs.
