It’s a privilege to work with client organisations that actively seek opportunities to further develop the capability and understanding of their people personally and professionally.  Equally, on the course weeks I get to meet the people who take up those opportunities and I am always inspired by their commitment and engagement. 

Glenda on her role at Executive Education

My role is managing the client experience from first enquiry through to delivery of the course. This involves working closely with the client to understand the organisational needs and then building, in conjunction with the client, courses that meet those needs.  Full customisation is offered and special attention is paid to bringing together the right facilitators for specific client needs.

I also manage our national and global network of industry-based and academic facilitators who provide a diverse, balanced and world class knowledge base for our participants to draw on and actively apply to their professional and personal future endeavours.

Background and experience

Glenda has over 10 years’ experience in business development in the tertiary sector, including eight years as External Relations Director at the University of Canterbury business school where she was responsible for the development and management of external stakeholder relationships.  In this role, specific to Executive Education, she actively promoted programmes to key client groups and individuals, and supported recruitment activities and programme development.  Glenda has prior relationship management experience in global manufacturing, construction and heavy equipment, retail mall management, public relations, and she has owned and operated two businesses.
