Susan Steer

MBA Admissions and Student Development Manager

Susan's advice to learners

“Invest in yourself. Take full advantage of your time with us, out of the workplace.”

Susan on working at Executive Education

My primary role is that of Manager in the MBA programme, but occasionally I am also involved in co-ordinating Executive Education programmes.  I really enjoy working in a position that enables me to interact with so many people from around the world, including both lecturers and students.

Susan on her role at Executive Education

My duties at Otago include supporting students (course advice and pastoral care), co-ordinating programmes, working with lecturers, and co-ordinating professional development opportunities for MBA students.

Background and experience

I have over ten years’ experience working in the tertiary education sector, in both the UK and New Zealand. In previous roles, I have been involved in postgraduate admissions, coordinating work placements, and managing overseas exchange programmes. I’ve been living in Dunedin for four years and am enjoying everything this ‘little’ city has to offer!
