Two vitamin C principal investigators from the Centre for Free Radical Research travelled to Oregon State University to give invited presentations at the Linus Pauling Institute's 9th Biennial Diet and Optimum Health Conference, Special one-day 'Symposium on Vitamin C' (themed Cancer and Sepsis).
The symposium was held on 15 September 2017.
Dr Anitra Carr discussed Vitamin C requirements and mechanisms of action in severe infection.
Professor Margreet Vissers presented Vitamin C-dependent regulation of the hypoxic response in cancer.
