Keeping good relationships with your supervisors throughout your PhD is vital. Part of doing a PhD is managing your supervisor! If you have any concerns, make sure to raise them early on and don't let them drag out. A healthy relationship with your supervisor means issues from all parties should be able to be addressed without fear of criticism. If you are having issues that you do not feel you can discuss with any of your supervisors, please talk to your Postgraduate Coordinator or your Head of Department. If they are not resolved, get in touch with the Graduate Research School as soon as possible and we will help in any way we can.

In the unfortunate situation that difficulties cannot be resolved between you and a supervisor, it may be possible to change your supervisor part way through your PhD.
