How is physical performance measured and sports technique evaluated? How can we improve performance and reduce the risk of injury? How does our body respond to meet the energetic and physiological demands for exercise performance, and how are these demands affected by factors such as environmental temperature, humidity or the types of activities we participate in?

Students will take a hands-on approach to answering these questions while experiencing leading-edge technology used in studying human performance, including online gas analysis, GPS tracking and the aquatics and environmental research facility.
