Nicola Hoodless, Manager Health Sciences Admissions
Nicola moved to New Zealand from Cumbria, UK in 2010. She joined the University of Otago as an administrator at the Auckland Centre, before moving to Dunedin in April 2012, to become the Admissions Officer in the Health Sciences team. She was appointed to manager in 2018.
Nicola enjoys working in an advisory setting alongside students, staff and outside agencies.
Suse Kearns, Admissions Officer
Suse first joined the University of Otago as a student and graduated with a BA. She started her university career working at Toroa College for eleven years, then moving more centrally to the University Information Centre for seven years, with several secondments to the University Admissions team. This variety of roles means she can advise on many university processes outside of Health Sciences, and if she does not know the answer to your enquiry, will find out who to refer you to.
Suse enjoys meeting students at all stages of their university journey, but especially as they are starting to think about their future study options.
She is the main point of contact for students interested in applying for entry into the professional programmes.
