General contact information
The general contact point for Health Sciences admissions is:
AskOtago Central Hub located in the Central Library
65 Albany Street
Suse Kearns, Senior Administrator
Suse first joined the University of Otago as a student and graduated with a BA. She started her university career working at Toroa College for eleven years, then moving more centrally to the University Information Centre for seven years, with several secondments to the University Admissions team. This variety of roles means she can advise on many university processes outside of Health Sciences, and if she does not know the answer to your enquiry, will find out who to refer you to.
Suse enjoys meeting students at all stages of their university journey, but especially as they are starting to think about their future study options.
She is the main point of contact for students interested in applying for entry into the professional programmes.
Barbara Huband, Senior Administrator
Barbara has worked with the Admissions Office since 2011, and the Health Sciences Admissions Office since November 2018.
Barbara is the main point of contact for students interested in applying for entry into the health science professional programmes.
Charlotte Hall, Manager, Health Science Admissions
Charlotte started her role in August 2019 after moving to Dunedin from Liverpool. Back in the UK she worked in a number of universities and has experience in Student Recruitment, International Recruitment and Admissions, and UG/PG Admissions. Charlotte enjoys working in a student facing role and getting to see their journey from application to graduation.
