Research summary
Online behaviour and health; use of online technologies for medical education and research

Research

Steve's primary current interest relates to people's use of online technologies and its relationships to health and wellbeing.

Specifically, he is investigating the types of online behaviour engaged by young adults, and investigating whether certain types of activity are more or less related to aspects of their mental and physical wellbeing.

Steve is also interested in the use of online technologies for health interventions, medical education, and research, particularly the use of social networking for recruitment and the use of user-annotated video for developing professional skills in clinicians.
