Research

My main research thread is related to dental implants and associated removable dentures. My research interests also extend into dental materials and particularly those to do with removable appliances.

The skills and knowledge I have in this area includes stress analysis using both physical and finite elemental analysis methods. I also have an interest in qualitative research that looks at clinical issues and the dental technology profession. This area of research stems from my degree in education where I developed skills in applied qualitative research.
