Research
Lizhou was trained as a Chinese Medical Doctor in China, and completed her PhD at the University of Otago. Her primary research interests are rehabilitation and intergrative medicine, which draws on both conventional and complementary and alternative medicine, including acupuncture, tai chi, and photobiomodulation.
In addition, Lizhou is interested in gendered health (women's health and men's health), and committed to conduct translational health research in New Zealand.
