Research

Daryle has worked extensively as a mental health nurse in the addiction and mental health field. The focus of her PhD was on methadone treatment for opioid dependence. Her general research areas of interest are

1. addiction treatment, outcomes, therapeutic alliance, and consumer perceptions and, more recently, with NAC colleagues, obesity and compulsive overeating;
2. specialist nursing practice within the addiction and broader mental health areas of practice.
