Research

My research focuses on the role of next-generation sequencing technologies in diagnostic microbiology and public health. We are currently performing whole-genome sequencing of drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical isolates for rapid diagnosis and genotyping.

My research also focuses on the development of new anti-TB drugs targeting bacterial metabolism and energetics. In particular, I am interested in identifying key regulatory networks that coordinates Mycobacterial metabolism.
