Dr Clint Gray

PositionSenior Research Fellow
DepartmentDepartment of Paediatrics and Child Health (Wellington)
Research summaryPrematurity; cardiovascular risk

Research

Dr Gray's current research projects involve using pressure myography to examine preterm vascular function in offspring and placenta. He is also working on projects looking at the effects of maternal diet on the uterine environment, blastocyst development, microRNA and gene expression. Utilising Proteomics and metabolomics he is also looking at the effects of preterm birth on liver function and the effects of maternal fructose (sugar-sweetened beverage) consumption on offspring liver development and predisposition to NAFLD.
