Research
Professor Hutton is responsible for both the teaching and research of reproductive medicine in the department. His research interests include:1. the regulatory role of proteins from the human egg as measured in the cumulus cells around the egg in IVF patients undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection. (with Professor K McNatty, University of Victoria Wellington) and
2. The initial management with clomiphene of infertility patients presenting with anovulation by the measurement of a single luteal phase plasma progesterone estimation.
