Research
Areas of research interest include investigating novel ways of using clinical data to capture patient experiences and predict clinical outcomes in people with chronic conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease and musculoskeletal pain conditions. I am also interested in developing equitable interdisciplinary pathways of care for people with chronic conditions in New Zealand.
My current research is exploring the use of developmental trajectories and machine learning applications to understand and predict outcomes in people with postoperative, abdominal, and musculoskeletal pain. I am also developing a programme of research dedicated to establishing interdisciplinary care for New Zealanders with temporomandibular disorders.
