Research

My research aims to understand the ‘brain-pain’ mechanisms driving chronic musculoskeletal pain and improve the clinical pain outcomes through non-invasive neuromodulation using novel Infraslow Neurofeedback. I am currently involved in the following areas of research:

  • Transcranial Electric Stimulation for Chronic Low Back Pain: Clinical Trial
  • Novel high-definition transcranial grey noise stimulation (HD-tGNS) for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder: a proof-of-concept study
