Research
Kim is currently working with Kyp Kypri to identify modifiable environmental factors that influence hazardous drinking among tertiary students. This project involves an additional focus on Maori-specific factors, for which she is collaborating with Julia Wilson, a research assistant in Maori health, and is supervised by Jo Baxter.
Kim has an undergraduate degree in anthropology and a postgraduate degree in public health. She recently returned from Cambodia, where she was collecting data for her master's thesis in public health.
