Overview
We are studying a number of cohorts to identify risk factors for development and progression of heart valve disease, especially aortic valve disease. This one-year project, suitable for either medical or science graduates, would involve examining early associations with heart valve disease, quantifying the effects on quality of life and, if possible, identification of modifiable factors to slow progression.
